An easy way to learn the game is to watch or listen to one of the many “real play” podcasts/shows out there. We got into D&D thanks to Critical Role* which involves “A group of nerdy ass voice actors” narrating their way through a mystical world created by their GM, they are long episodes and the campaigns stretch hundreds of hours, so can be intense.

*There can be some foul language and adult themes, so we recommend a 15+ age limit on Critical Role.

Dimension 20 on the other hand offers more bite-size campaigns with the same challenges on the table for the players. If you want an English version you can give High Rollers a go who have a number of campaigns and events on their youtube channel.
